Last February we held the 6th Edition of our annual international project in South America. #ELPODERDELABIKE
We are really glad to see, how through the years the bmx flatland scene in #PERU has been developed in a good shape.
The level of riding goes from beginners till professionals, making our event a proper platform to develop the sport in a good way.
This time we teamed up together with the local Council #MUNICIPALIDADMIRAFLORES to organice the event on the Coast, in front of the ocean pacific!
After this, we are pretty sure, that BMX is more than tricks, it is all about the good times sharing the passion for the sport in between the community.
Thanks a lot to our friends, Sponsors & supporters, who helped us to make possible this 6th Edition in Lima, Peru.

El mes pasado estuvimos realizando la sexta edicion de nuestro evento anual ” El Poder de la Bike”; esta vez contamos con el apoyo de la Municipalidad de #miraflores para llevarlo a cabo en el Parque Salazar, frente al Mar!
Siempre contentos de ver la evolucion de nuestra disciplina deportiva en Peru. Desde hace 6 años venimos organizando esta plataforma de encuentro e intercambio, para fomentar y desarrollar el deporte en esta parte del Mundo.
El nivel de progresion a traves de los años, nos permite apreciar una variada composicion de maniobras y estilos de ejecucion.
Grata fue nuestra sorpresa, al ver, que una vez oscurecido, el publico asistente al evento, prendio la luz de sus telefonos moviles para hacer posible la final y apreciar ver los ultimos trucos #bmxflatland

Naro Matsigenka Book – Film Documentary
Since a few years I got involved in the production of a Film Documentary about Peruvian Communities in the jungle of south America . As a part of the team, that have visited the natural reserve in south east peru, in the region of Cusco. I got the chance to visit and experience how the people live in the middle of the Jungle, with out a road or any other kind of communication, the only connection is through the river, and the multiple affluents.
The Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, was running a huge research about the use of the natural resources in the jungle of Peru by the Matsigenka community, during the last 5 years. The scientific work and design of the research was made by University teacher Martha Rodriguez. Together with her team, they have visited periodically the different areas around Cusco region, to collect as much information they could. I joined the crew the last years of the project to film a documentary and take pictures for their upcoming book. After the travel phase, we got the commission to produce together with Wildschnitt Film & Photography the design of the book and organize more than 6000 pictures taken by the communities through 5 years. It was a long and hard work, but it paid off. I’m really glad to have the chance to produce such a interesting and important book for the university.
