BMX at the Airport / Berlin Tempelhof
BMX Freestyle Professional Rider Camilo Gutierrez explores iconic locations of the central airport „ Berlin – Tempelhof „ , famous for its monumental architecture and his important role in the german & global history. Built between 1936 -1941, The Airport Tempelhof was used for multiple purposes, from a former Commercial Airport through the Cold War episode 1948/49 and till to be the Refuge’s home in 2015. Over original recorded sounds and exclusive Soundtrack, mostly Areal and slow motion shots document the journey of a bmx freestyler in the empty locations of one of the biggest Buildings and Structures in the World. BMX at Airport shows the use that Camilo does of the huge space with his dynamic bmx riding, showing us a new way to experience the airport’s space with the bicycle.

Este verano 2020, llevamos a cabo nuestro evento anual de BMX Freestyle en la ciudad de Lima, Peru, Sudamerica, por séptimo aÑo consecutivo!
En cooperación con la Municipalidad de Miraflores y con el apoyo de Patrocinadores locales e Internacionales, presentamos el pasado Sábado 29 de Febrero, en el Malecón de Miraflores – Parque Grau, nuestro evento de BMX Flatland totalmente Gratuito, que conto con la presencia de nuestros entrenadores Profesionales de BMX Freestyle Camilo Gutierrez desde Berlin, Alemania y Waldemar Fatkin desde el Norte de Europa (Alemania – Rusia), ellos en conjunto con los mejores exponentes nacionales de la disciplina de BMX Flatland, pusieron un show de acrobacias y arte urbano de nivel Internacional, demostrando lo que es posible hacer sobre una bicicleta de BMX en la superficie plana. FREESTYLE!
Cabe destacar que esta plataforma de encuentro e intercambio, es parte de los proyecto sociales que llevamos a cabo de forma gratuita y auto – sostenible tanto en Alemania, como en el Peru.

The last Weekend of February was really great to see the Peruvian #BMX Flatland Riders at their finest! Together with the Support of our #bmxflatland Coach’s @camilogutierrezbmx on the bike & the Mic! And @waldemarfatkin as a Head of the Judging System, the show was ON an International level, that was never seen before in Peru!
This is one of our Social Projects, that we have been organizing the last 7 Years in South America to develop our #sport discipline, BMX Flatland.

Was für ein spektakuläres und besonderes Event in Peru!
Die lange Vorbereitungsphase hat sich gelohnt. Wir haben den Boden vor Ort aus eigener Kraft ausgebessert, um Stromanschlüsse gekämpft und ausgiebige Diskussionen mit Verantwortlichen geführt.
BMXer mit unterschiedlichen Niveaus sind zum Event erschienen, um vor zahlreichen Zuschauern zu zeigen, wie sie ihre Leistung seit dem letzten Jahr gesteigert haben. In freundschaftlicher Atmosphäre, unterstützt durch grandiose musikalische Beats von DJ @zectwicked & @marc.honninger , bestem peruanischen Wetter ☀️und interkulturellen Besuchern konnten die BMXer von Poder de la Bike 7 das Publikum begeistern. Das Finale fand im Regen von Handylichtern statt und bot einen sensationellen Abschluss des Events.
Wir danken allen Teilnehmern, Unterstützern, Sponsoren und Zuschauern, die dieses #BMX Event ermöglicht haben und es zu dem gemacht haben!

Unfortunately, the Global situation is really difficult at the moment for most riders and also for our bmx students, who don’t have the chance to ride outside and must to stay indoor during the Quarantine, for them and also for who has interest to try bmx at home, we have thought something nice to collaborate with you.
As a little encouragement in the limited Space during current situation and as active training at home, the BMX School Berlin offers you short videos of tricks with instructions that you can practice alone or with the support of a person.
Step by step we explain you with Subtitles in English and German, how to do a small Balance trick in a reduced space, like your dinning Room, so you can stay healthy at home while having fun.

Als kleine Aufmunterung in der eingeschränkten aktuellen Situation und als aktives Training für zu Hause bietet die BMX School Berlin nun Kurzvideos von Tricks mit Anleitung an, die ihr in der Zeit allein oder mit euren Eltern zusammen üben könnt. Step by step wird erklärt, wie der Trick zu schaffen ist. Bis die Situation sich wieder entschärft und wir wieder als Gruppe trainieren können, bietet die Schule wöchentlich ein neues Video an, sodass euch der Spaß am BMX nicht verloren geht.

Last February we held the 6th Edition of our annual international project in South America. #ELPODERDELABIKE
We are really glad to see, how through the years the bmx flatland scene in #PERU has been developed in a good shape.
The level of riding goes from beginners till professionals, making our event a proper platform to develop the sport in a good way.
This time we teamed up together with the local Council #MUNICIPALIDADMIRAFLORES to organice the event on the Coast, in front of the ocean pacific!
After this, we are pretty sure, that BMX is more than tricks, it is all about the good times sharing the passion for the sport in between the community.
Thanks a lot to our friends, Sponsors & supporters, who helped us to make possible this 6th Edition in Lima, Peru.

Siempre contentos de ver la evolucion de nuestra disciplina deportiva en Peru. Desde hace 6 años venimos organizando esta plataforma de encuentro e intercambio, para fomentar y desarrollar el deporte en esta parte del Mundo.
El nivel de progresion a traves de los años, nos permite apreciar una variada composicion de maniobras y estilos de ejecucion.
Grata fue nuestra sorpresa, al ver, que una vez oscurecido, el publico asistente al evento, prendio la luz de sus telefonos moviles para hacer posible la final y apreciar ver los ultimos trucos #bmxflatland

Karneval der Kulturen 2018 / Kids Parade – Berlin
Kinder Karneval der Kulturen 2018 #BERLIN
Wir hatten die großartige Chance #BMXFlatland beim Umzug auf dem Kinderkarneval in Kreuzberg zu präsentieren.
Eine Woche lang haben wir zusammen mit den Kindern der Nürtingen-Grundschule in X-berg die Grundlagen des BMX Freestyle erarbeitet.
Die Jungs haben sich viel Mühe gegeben, in 5 Tagen BMX Tricks zu lernen und diese beim Kinderkarneval vorzuführen.
Last Month we got the chance to perform at the biggest Street Parade for Children in Berlin.
During One week, A group of Kids from the school Nürtingen-Grundschule in our district #KREUZBERG learnt the principles of BMX Sport & culture, to be able show a few tricks in front of the public at the Kids Parade, on the streets of Berlin.

“El Poder de la Bike ” Vol.5 BMX Flatland Contest – Lima, Peru
EL PODER DE LA BIKE Vol.5 2018 / Lima, Perú
As a part of our international collaborations with the BMX School Berlin project , this time we’ve cooperated with our friend – Urban Artist “Seimiek” to organize, for 5th year in a row, the BMX Flatland Event “ELPODERDELABIKE “ in Peru, South America. It was really great to see, how the bmx Flatland scene has been developed in a good shape the last 10 years over there.
” El Poder de la Bike” Vol.5 was held as a “Street Jam” Format to see the reaction of the people in one of the most iconic places in front of the Ocean Pacific in Lima.
The Award Ceremony and also a Flatland show took place at the Bar Hensley.
After this event, we are pretty sure, that the essence of BMX Freestyle is having fun & be free on a bicycle!

Free Messe, München 2018
From 21 till 25th February, We’ve visited the biggest Trade show for Outdoor Sports and new Trends in the Bayern to perform BMX Flatland shows & Workshops for the BMX School Berlin Project. It was really great full to see how many kids got involved in our workshops for beginners after our Team Performance. We Hope to be back soon in Munich to show more of our Sport & lifestyle.

Servus!! Wir waren in München auf der F.re.e München 2018 f.re.e – Die Reise- und Freizeitmesse unterwegs. Dort sind wir 5 Tage BMX Flatland Shows & Workshops gefahren. Die Trainer Camilo Gutierrez & Waldemar waren in Bayern am Start, um unsere Projekt Bmxschoolberlin zu repräsentieren. Es war eine Freude zu sehen, wie viele Leute Interesse an BMX Freestyle haben. Egal welchen Alters, alle haben es probiert. Wir freuen uns sehr auf nächstes Jahr! Wiederschaun!

Change Sport – Report BMX School Project
The platform CHANGE SPORT from Frankfurt am Main published a report about the BMX SCHOOL project, that I’m doing since last year in / from my neighborhood in Kreuzberg, Berlin. Really glad to see, how the project has been developed in the last months. From Workshops at the Old Airport in Tempelhof to a Kid’s parade at Kinder Karnaval der Kulturen last June.
